After a long time, India has finally obtained a quality all-rounder. He is Hardik Pandya who has already amassed 1157 runs in 57 One-Day International (ODIs) including the highest score of unbeaten 92 and scalped 55 wickets. The 27-year old Gujarat all-rounder has also been promising in the Twenty20 International by scoring 388 runs from 43 matches and captured 38 wickets. But the major difficulty with Pandya is that he is injury prone and often faces problems in passing the fitness test.

Shivam Dube was born on 26th June 1993 in Mumbai. He is a left-hand batsman and right-hand medium pacer. Initially, Dube was liked by the Indian captain and he was an important choice in absence of Hardik Pandya. Dube made his debut for India in the ODIs against West Indies last year. But he failed to draw attention as he scored only 9 runs with the bat and had to concede huge 68 runs from his only 7.5 overs without obtaining a wicket. Dube, however, has participated in 13 T20 International matches and scored only 105 runs including his best 54 and with the ball, he has picked up only 5 wickets from his 13 matches so far. Still, he can be one of the 5 all-rounders who can make up for Hardik Pandya mainly for his consistent sow in the first-class game where he has scored 1012 runs from his 16 matches including his best score of 114 and bagged 40 wickets so far.

The 29-year old all-rounder from Tamil Nadu showed huge potential in the first-class and List 'A' cricket at the beginning of his cricket journey. The right-hand batsman and right-arm medium pacer has gathered 2242 runs from his 45 first-class matches with an average of 44.84 including his best score of 111 and he also has scored 2286 runs from 88 List 'A' matches including his highest 129 with an average of 38.10. However, he was able to restrict the opposition's runs with the ball in his debut for India against Australia in the 3rd ODI at Melbourne in 2018. Vijay Shankar gave away only 23 runs from 6 overs at an economy rate of 3.83. He did not get the opportunity to bat in the match. Vijay Shankar's debut in T20 International was not able to draw attention as bowling only for 2 overs Vijay Shankar had to concede 15 runs. He has scored 223 runs from 12 ODIs and taken only 4 wickets while in T20 International Shankar has amassed 101 runs from 9 matches so far. Still, he is called the country's one of the promising all-rounders now.
