IPL 2020 AUCTIONS | IPL Players List
Welcome to the live blog of the IPL 2020 auctions. A total of 332 shortlisted players are up for auction with the franchises looking to fill up 73 spots in the league. 29 players from this list are overseas players who are expected fire up the auctions. All the franchises have been tight-lipped about the kind of talent they are looking for in the IPL 2020 auctions and the league is getting exciting by the year. The auctions so far has been really engaging with many of the Australian players being bought for big money. Pat Cummins, Chris Lynn, Nathan Coulter Nile have all picked for big money while very surprisingly, Marcus Stoinis has not found a buyer yet.
Shimron Hetmyer has been bought for a massive 7.75 crores and will play for Delhi in the upcoming season. His Windies teammates Carlos Braithwaite and Evin Lewis have failed to find buyers so far.
Among the Indian players, Piyush Chawla fetched 6.75 crores and has been the highest bid on an Indian player so far.
While players like Chris Morris, Chris Woakes, David Willey, Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Kane Richardson, Kyle Abbott, and Shaun Marsh have confirmed their attendance for the IPL 2020 season, with each opting for a base price of INR 1.5 crore.

1. CSK - Chennai (CSK)
The MS Dhoni led-team has a wallet remaining of Rs 14.60 Crores and needs very few players to complete the IPL squad. The team needs five players ( 3 Domestic, 2 International) to complete the squad. This is how their current squad looks like.
