KKR IPl 2021 Squads: Complete list of Kolkata Knight Riders Players
The two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders went into the auction with one of the smallest purses in the IPL 2021 player auction. Now, this is where it gets interesting, the Knight Riders bought back some old players who have already represented the side in previous editions during the 2021 player auction. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib-Al Hasan and Sheldon Jackson are two such names who have played for the knights before and were bought back in the auction for INR 3.2 crores and INR 20 lakhs, respectively.
Three most interesting buys for KKR in this auction were Veteran Harbhajan Singh, India International Karun Nair and Australian All-rounder Ben Cutting.

Conclusion –
KKR looked steady in the first half of the last season but soon lost their way in the middle while also going for a change in captaincy as Dinesh Karthik stepped down and Eoin Morgan replaced him as the new captain. This time around, they have a well-balanced side with some interesting new recruits. Eoin Morgan will lead the side from the start and will have the support of Dinesh Karthik who can contribute by giving important insights. This side has good chance of changing their fortunes.
