MI vs SRH Head to Head Match Prediction IPL 2021

SRH V/S MI (Match 31) Pre-Match Analysis (Today’s Match Prediction) VIVO IPL 2021: Captain, Vice-captain, Fantasy gaming Tips, Probable Playing XIs for Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians T20 Match at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, 7:30 PM IST 4th May  2021

Head-to-Head

We are back with Tuesday Tussle at the Feroz Shah KotlaStadium, Delhi. After a hectic week at the points table it is time for these two to take on the field for a Tuesday night belter! It’s the Mumbai Indians taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the heart of New Delhi and we cannot imagine the night getting better. Mumbai Indians have stabilized themselves on the points board by securing the 4th position. While Sunrisers Hyderabad have not been able to find the right mix of players to win them their second match in this tournament. They have good players in their side, but they simply have looked clueless in the final moments of every match and this can become a bad habit provided they don’t start working on it right away.

On the other hand, Mumbai has made a good comeback from their previous match. In the first innings, they looked stiff but in the second innings they looked like they have got it covered and are back in their natural zone against the Super Kings. They can be a dangerous team to play against and Sunrisers are in a tough position right now after losing two back-to-back matches, so this is going to be a hard pill to swallow. If SRH win this, it will boost their confidence to the roof.

Pitch Conditions

We have seen how things have turned out at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. The pitch is turning out be a nightmare for bowlers during the late overs of both innings. It is going to be a paradise for the batsmen as the ball is not doing much here and it is not easy to bowl with dew coming in. If Mumbai bats first, we can expect a good total on the board and SRH then may have a big task at hand. SRH will be hoping they win the toss and bat first so that they have a chance of getting Mumbai out early in the second innings.

Batting:

MI:

Defending champions Mumbai will be relying heavily on their top order tonight and skipper Rohit sharma will have to fire with his bat along with partner Quinton De Kock. Although the Mumbai Captain is looking in a sublime touch and is capable of taking the match away, the latter has failed to fire in the past and will have to find his feet soon. Suryakumar Yadav is looking strong in the middle while Ishan Kishan hasn’t found his touch and will be hoping to open up his bat. Then, there are Pandya brothers and Kieron Pollard. This makes them a solid batting side.

SRH:

A batting line up which is headed by Kane Williamson after former captain David warner got dropped from the team which has a lot more talent in the depth of their ranks. There is a constant toss-up between Kane Williamson and Jonny Bairstow to take one overseas position in the team as David Warner was already  one and they also need someone like a Rashid Khan in their ranks which makes it an exceedingly difficult task to pick the right talent for this particular match. They also have roped in Kedar Jadhav in their squad this year, who is a handy contender in the middle. Apart from this they have plenty of good options like Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg, Jason Roy, Wriddhiman Saha and Jason Holder.

Bowling

SRH:

Their bowling department is looking strong enough to take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Jasprit Bumrah has displayed why he is the best bowler in the world as he has been maintaining a low economy throughout and will be their go-to bowler in the death overs, there is no doubt about that. He’ll be accompanied by Trent boult and Nathan Coulter-Nile who could make a huge impact this season.  They have Piyush Chawla in the spin department and also young pacer Arjun Tendulkar. It will be interesting to see how they pick their mix of bowlers on this slow pitch.

MI:

The strength of having India pace bowler Bhuvneshwar adds a lot to their bowling attack. The right-arm pace bowler did well in the recent limited-overs series against England.

Apart from Bhuvi, the SRH has the likes of Rashid Khan, Jason Holder and T Natarajan. Rashid Khan has been one of the world’s best T20 players recently and is an asset for his team while young Natarajan is a sensational bowling talent which everybody has already witnessed in the last season. The SRH pace attack as well as spin attack may become a challenge for Mumbai.

Match Prediction

One team has just regained its confidence while the other is low on confidence after losing 6 matches in a row. Now, whatever said and done, Mumbai is a much stronger side than SRH both on paper and on the field. SRH will have to at their best to give Mumbai a tough fight because the latter will not let them have it easy at all. If SRH has to win, they will have to bowl their heart out tonight and restrict Mumbai below 150 to have a chance at a win. Mumbai on the other hand will be hoping that no blunder takes place, and they are able to seal a comfortable win.
