2007 T20s Hero Announces Retirement

Joginder Sharma, an incredible cricketer, and bowler announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He is considered to be the hero of the twenty-twenty matches of the year 2007 from all forms of cricket. He is the right-arm medium pacer.


The secretary of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) named Mr. Jay Shah, got a letter of this dynamic player’s retirement. Joginder Sharma then also shared one copy of the retirement letter on his social media handle.

 

He is really a great bowler and a performer. He really showed great bowling skills at the twenty-twenty World Cup final which was held in the year 2007. In the last over of that T20 match, he just showed the best ever skills and performances in bowling we have ever seen.

 

Now, he wanted to explore new glories of life and wanted to see good career opportunities in the cricket field. He now is looking forward to starting a new beginning in his life.

 

In his letter of retirement, he says that “He with gratitude and humbleness, announces his retirement from all forms of cricket whether international level or cricket or domestic cricket. He will now not play in any format of cricket.”

 

He also gave a statement on his social media handle, “His journey of cricket from the year 2002 till 2017 approximately around 14 years is his life’s most amazing and wonderful years. He is very proud of representing his nation India at many higher levels and in every corner of the world.”

 

He also wrote in the letter that now he is on the way to exploring new opportunities and new things in the world. He will also be continuing to participate in the game. He loves to face challenges and he believes in himself that his next step after retirement will also be going to be good. He is now looking forward to this new chapter of his life.

 

If we talk about Joginder Sharma, who was born on the 23rd of October in 1983. He is from Haryana and represented India in cricket at many levels. He is currently 39 years old. He has played just four games for the Indian team but in those matches, he just showed the best performance which many haven’t shown.

 

He has played around four matches in one-day internationals and at the same number that is four matches in the twenty-twenty format of cricket in his whole career. His best performance was shown in the ICC World twenty-twenty match in the year 2007.

 

This T20 match was played against the Pakistan team. In the last over, the opponent team was in need of thirteen runs and Joginder, took a wicket. From then till now he is really recognized as the hero of the team.
