Akram criticizes India's negligence on International series

Former Pakistan skipper and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram feels one of the key reasons behind India's poor show in the ongoing Twenty20 World Cup has been India's negligence on International Series. The legendary fast bowler who holds the most ODI wickets pointed out that the last big international limited-over series senior players participated was in March against England. Akram has commented, "The senior Indian players last took part in a major limited-over series was in March. Now it is November and it means Indian cricketers are not taking major big limited-overs series not seriously. They feel IPL is enough. Playing in League will not give you the experience of facing quality bowlers at the same time that you have to face in an international competition."
