Bavuma earns applauded for defending de Kock's stand bravely
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma was appreciated by cricket experts and cricket journalists for having made press briefings with guts on Quinton de Kock's last-moment withdrawal decision against West Indies. There was a lot of confusion and disbelief when Bavuma, after the toss had revealed that de Kock has made himself unavailable for the match. Later South Africa Cricket Board revealed that de Kock had disagreed to take to his knee that is a global gesture accepted by sportspersons throughout the globe in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Bavuma however backing de Kock, said the whole South African team is behind the wicket-keeper-batsman.
