BCCI contract 2020-21: Hardik promoted only
All-rounder Hardik Pandya is the only cricketer to get a promotion to Grade-A from Grade-B in BCCI's central contract list, announced on Thursday. Indian captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah however have been able to retain their places in the Grade-A+ while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal-all have been demoted from their respective grades. Grade A+ category players will get Rs 7 crores. Grade A players will receive Rs 5 crores, Grade B category players will receive Rs 3 crores and Grade C players will get Rs 1 crore for the period between October 2020 and September 2021.
