CSK likely to retail Dhoni for three seasons
Chennai Super Kings are likely to retain their longstanding captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the next three Indian Premier League seasons. He apart, CSK has also reportedly planned to retain Rabindra Jadeja and Rituraj Gaikwad who played important role in CSK's 2021 IPL triumph. Retaining Dhoni for three years does not seem to be surprising as Dhoni had already commented that his last T20 match will be at Chennai. He has commented, "I have always planned my cricket. My last ODI in India was in Ranchi. Hopefully, my last T20 will be in Chennai. Whether in next year or in five years' time I do not know." However, CSK is not likely to retain Suresh Raina for the first time.
