Indian Hockey Team Aims to Win
Captain of the Indian hockey team Harmanpreet Singh is in good form and motivating his team to do well in the hockey world cup.
Everybody, whether small kids or aged people in Bhubaneswar are very excited about the world cup and we can hear chants of “India Hi Jeetega” everywhere in the city.
Every person of each age group is eagerly waiting for the Indian team to bring the trophy and raise our Indian flag everywhere.
A Hockey team has 13 incredible heroes. The energy on the field and off the field can be seen very clearly.
The match will be held in Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium which is in Rourkela, Odisha. On the ground, we know that the gems of the Indian Hockey team will never fail to surprise us.
We know the team has to do a lot of practice and energy to perform well on the ground. The opening game is on Friday and is going to be held in Spain. We are definitely hoping that our players will give great performances so that our country India will be very proud of them.
In 2021, after 41 years India won a medal in this sport at Oi Hockey Stadium in Tokyo. The Tokyo match changed the perspective of the whole Indian Hockey team. Now we should only be focused on our future matches that are going to be held in a few days.
Now we are chasing the Hockey World Cup 2023, and we hope for the best. We must also see the team profile which will be playing for the World Cup 2023. Our Indian Hockey team is very strong and filled with very skilled people.
We have many Olympic medalists in our team, and you will be glad to know that it’s the first time since 1982 that the Indian Hockey team will be playing as the Olympic medalists.
We all are aware that the World Cup happens every 4 years, but this year we are getting a chance that the World Cup will be happening in our country India. We all know about the crowd and people of India. Playing in their native country will definitely motivate the players and will give them a lot of strength.
Significantly, there is no team left that has not lost any of the matches played by our Indian Hockey team in recent years. India has a great record in previously playing in Bhubaneswar, and we are hoping again for good results in the new year.
For now, we should just practise a lot and play accordingly so that our chances of winning will automatically increase. Firstly, the priority is to win the first match.
If we win this match it will act as a booster and our chances of winning this 2023 Hockey World cup will definitely increase. So fingers crossed and just hope for the best magic to happen in the ground.
