McClenaghan says the series was meaningless
After India had won the second Twenty20 International at Ranchi and ensured the series of three-T20Is an Indian fan wrote in tweets, 'New Zealand lost.' In its reply New Zealand cricketer Mitchell McClenaghan has tweeted, 'Did they? Do you mean a meaningless series 72 hours after a World Cup final defeat with 3 games in 5 days playing a team with 10 days' rest in their home conditions?' New Zealand lost the T20 World Cup final against Australia in Dubai on 14th November and had to play their first T20I just after three days on 17th November at Jaipur. The visitors have also lost the remaining two T20Is and conceded the series 3-0 against India.
