Morkel says New Zealand favorite in the final
Former South African fast bowler Morne Morkel has backed the 'street smart' New Zealand team in the Twenty20 World Cup final 2021 against Australia to be held on Sunday in Dubai. Morkel has opined that he had already said before the start of the event that New Zealand would make it to the final and now his prediction reveals that the Kiwis will have the last laugh in the final also. Morkel clarified saying, "They are Test champion, have played in the final of 50-over World Cup and they have exceptional performance in the white-ball competition. More importantly, after having earned such a touch victory against England the Kiwis seem to be fearless and they have the ability to handle the pressure that is generated in the shortest format of cricket."
