New Year's resolution in the India-Sri Lanka matchup

The Men in Blue will win the Cricket World Cup this year as Hardik Pandya's stated New Year's resolution. Although Team India failed to win the T20 World Cup last year in Australia, Hardik claimed that 2022 was still a great year for him in a speech prior to India's home T20 series against Sri Lanka.

"It's obvious that things were very different a year ago. The decision to go out and improve me was mine, and the past year has been just fantastic. We should have won the T20 World Cup. It didn't happen, but that's okay, "In a press conference on Monday before the game. The all-around player continued, joking that he has yet to accomplish anything and that he still has a lot to accomplish in his career.

What are my Future Goals ?

“A lot has to be accomplished. In my professional life, I've accomplished nothing. Hence, with the World Cup victory as the ultimate objective," In Rohit Sharma's absence, Hardik, who is captain, added more. Three T20 matches between India and Sri Lanka will begin on Tuesday in Mumbai. On January 5 and January 7, respectively, Pune and Rajkot will host the other two games. For the T20 match against Sri Lanka, India will be without some of its veteran players, including Rohit and Virat Kohli.

The World Cup victory is the New Year's resolution. There isn't a resolution that, in my opinion, can be any bigger. We'll endeavour to accomplish our goal of winning the World Cup. The future seems promising, so we'll go out there and give it our all, added Hardik. The Gujarat Titans' captain added that he believes in the value of putting in a lot of effort in order to succeed.

"I understand the language of arduous labour. It's unlikely that I have ever learned another language. My diligence is the only thing keeping me afloat after being tossed into the deep end. Maintain my diligence while taking care of my body, which I do. I can't change the fact that accidents happen in sports. I have a great deal of faith in what I've accomplished and the steps that led me to this point.

Hardik Pandya adds that during India vs. Sri Lanka, we will give Umran Malik more opportunities. Hardik also expressed confidence that fast bowler Umran Malik would get plenty of opportunities in the upcoming series. Umran is anticipated to team up with Arshdeep Singh in India's pace attack because Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah are all out.

He has pace, of course. Everyone is aware of what a promising future he offers. He'll have plenty of chances, we promise. He will have enough support from us. He will receive enough assistance from our end for him to succeed. Just bowl solid strikes. I'll get by in a similar manner. Request the greatest possible balls from my bowlers. They're also capable of bowling at the international level, in my opinion, according to the Indian captain.
