New Zealand is the strongest team in all formats says, Atherton
Former England captain Mike Atherton hails the present New Zealand squad saying that they are the strongest team in the World of cricket in all three formats. Atherton commented after New Zealand earned an outright 5-wicket victory over pre-competition favorite England on Tuesday evening. The Black Caps reached the final of the 50-over World Cup in 2019 and they also defeated India this year to win the World Test Championship title. Atherton has commented, "Across formats, you would have to say that they are the strongest team at the moment. So, they deserve congratulations for their fantastic achievement even though they have limited resources in terms of personnel and money.
