Now the Scam on Cash for Selection
Officials of three state cricket associations, a suspected match-fixer, a former convenor of selectors of Delhi cricket, a former IPL cricketer, a Bengal under-19 cricketer, and a sports management company-all have been brought under the scanner in another scam, that is 'Cash for Selection'. In July, the UP cricketer Anshul Raj had complained against Ashutosh Bora, the president of Gurgaon-based sports management company of having allegedly defrauding him for Rs 10 lakh with a promise of getting him a slot in Himachal Pradesh under-23 cricket team for BCCI approved CK Nayudu tournament. Bengal's former under-19 cricketer Danish Mirza was also one of Bora's accomplices. The case has been under police investigation.
