Rizwan shares his nightmarish disease and hospital admission

Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan who scored a heroic 67 against Australia in the second semifinal match of the Twenty20 World Cup shared details on his admission to the hospital ICU following a severe chest infection on the day before the semifinal. Rizwan commented, "When I reached the hospital I was not breathing. The nurses told me my windpipes were blocked. Initially, I was told I would be released the next morning but later I was said that I would have to be there at the hospital for two nights as my windpipes would have burst. Rizwan was suffering from intermittent fever, persistent cough, and chest tightness for three to five days before being admitted to the ICU.
