Shastri is optimistic about Rohit Sharma's leadership ability
Ravi Shastri who ended his eventful tenure as Team India's chief coach on Monday in the ongoing Twentyr20 World Cup is optimistic about Rohit Sharma's leadership quality. Shastri has opined that Sharma is ready and capable to take over T20 captaincy from Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma who will be taking over T20 captaincy in the team's upcoming New Zealand tour may also take over ODI captaincy in the 2023 ODI Word Cup as it is believed. Shastri however has opined, "Rohit has won many IPLs as Mumbai captain. Then he is Team India's vice-captain now. So he is ready to guide the team."
