Early signs

Lalit Yadav made his debut in first-class cricket for Delhi against Maharashtra in a Ranji Trophy match in 2017. In his maiden appearance in Ranji Trophy, Lalit had made impressive performance. Delhi that won the match by an innings and 61 runs batted once in the match and Yadav scored 52 off 94 deliveries, hitting 10 fours. He also scalped 2 wickets at the cost of only 10 runs in 4 overs at an impressive economy rate of 2.50. Yadav has played in 12 first-class matches so far and scored 570 runs including his highest score of 91 while he has bagged 9 wickets so far in as many matches. Lalit Yadav had begun his journey in the List ‘A’ cricket against Himachal Pradesh in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match in 2018.
