Manimaran Siddharth was born on 3rd July 1998.

He is a left-arm orthodox spinner and a right-hand batsman.

M Siddharth made his debut in first-class cricket for Tamil Nadu in a Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka in 2019. Siddharth scalped 2 wickets at the cost of 47 runs in 16 overs in the first innings while managed only 1 wicket giving away 13 runs in his 6.4 overs. M. Siddharth has so far participated in 4 first-class matches and bagged 10 wickets at an economy rate of 2.45 including his best figure of 4 for 44 runs. Siddharth made his debut in List ‘A’ cricket against Punjab in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match in February this year. But he was quite expensive, giving away 44 runs in 7 overs at an economy rate of 6.29. Siddharth has played in 2 List ‘A’ matches and managed 3 wickets.

Siddharth was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the 2020 IPL but he was not played in a single match. He was then bought by Delhi Capitals for the 2021 IPL.

M. Siddharth made his debut in the Twenty20 match in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy competition against Mumbai in 2019. Siddharth, coming out of all his all previous sluggishness, exhibited an excellent show with a figure of 4-0-16-4. Practically, Siddharth’s brilliant 4 wickets for 16 runs guided Tamil Nadu to a convincing victory in the match. The 22-year old spinner had picked up 12 wickets in the competition that year. Siddharth, having played 6 matches has claimed 16 wickets at an economy rate of 4.95.
