Early signs

Chris Green has not yet made his debut in first-class cricket. He has participated only in List 'A' cricket as well as in the domestic Twenty20 circuit. Green had made his debut in the List 'A' cricket for New South Wales in the One-Day Cup in 2014. Green who captained Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a base price of Rs 20 Lakh. However, he was played only in 1 match where he failed to score and manage a wicket. Green was released by KKR ahead of the auction for the 2021 IPL and was unsold for the 2021 IPL.

T20 Career

27-yar old Green made his debut in Twenty20 Big Bash League for Sydney Thunders in 2015. Playing against Sydney Sixers in his maiden appearance Green was a failure, scoring only 3 runs and remaining wicket-less in his 4 overs at the cost of 14 runs. Green has played in 108 T20 matches and scored 568 runs at a strike rate of 123.21 including his highest score of 49 and with the ball, Green has captured 87 wickets including his best figure of 4 for 14.
