Nicholas Pooran overview

Nicholas Pooran plays for West Indies cricket team in International cricket and for Trinidad and Tobago in West Indian domestic matches. He started playing cricket from his school days where he was interested in wicket-keeping and batting. He was the vice-captain and a regular wicketkeeper of West Indies under-19 team 2014. Pooran made his IPL debut in the 2019 edition and was auctioned for a huge amount of INR 4.2 crores signed up by the KXIP - Punjab. He made his debut against RR - Rajasthan. He has played 7 matches since his debut and scored 168 runs. In IPL 2020 auction he was retained by the KXIP. As a wicketkeeper batsman, his strike rate shows the explosiveness of his batting.
