Shahbaz Ahmed overview
Shahbaz Ahmed is an Indian cricketer who is an all-rounder. He is a slow left-arm orthodox and a left-hand batsman. He was born in Mewat Haryana on 12th December 1994. The small town, going by the statistics was reportedly the most backward district based on the indicators of health, education, and the development of basic infrastructure. Shahbaz moved to another district Palwal mainly to learn cricket in an academy. From there he had gone to Gurgaon to test his luck but chances ran out and Shahbaz moved to Bengal with the help of another cricketer Pramod Chandila who also represented Bengal.
Shahbaz, within a couple of months after he started playing for a Kolkata first division club in Bengal, had earned praise from expertise like VVS Laxman and Bengal coach Arun Lal also. Shahbaz was included in the 'Vision 2020' project under the mentorship of VVS Laxman and the 26-year old all-rounder revealed later that Laxman told him he wanted Shahbaz to play for Bengal in a manner Rabindra Jadeja plays for the Indian team and it was a great honor for him. Bengal coach Arun Lal also had an appreciation for Shahbaz commenting that the cricketer is full of energy and has proved himself also as one of the most useful cricketers for Bengal in recent times.
