Riyan Parag overview

Riyan Parag is an Indian cricketer. He was born in Guwahati, Assam on 10th November 2001. He is a top-order right-hand batsman and a leg-break bowler. The 19-year old Riyan had met MS Dhoni when he was a six-year kid and got a photo with his idol. That was in 2007 when India won a match against Pakistan at Guwahati in a bilateral series and Dhoni had scored 63 in that match.

12 years down the line Riyan made his debut in the Indian premier league (IPL) for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings, being captained by Dhoni, and interestingly, Riyan was caught behind by MS Dhoni in his maiden appearance in mainstream cricket.
