Akash Singh is an Indian cricketer. He was born on 26th April 2002 in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. He is a left-arm medium pacer and a right-hand batsman.
During under-19 World Cup, the 17-year-old cricketer grabbed headlines after the end of India’s match against Bangladesh. Along with four other cricketers, Akash got involved in a scuffle and got punished by the world cricket’s ruling body ICC. However, Akash had picked up 7 wickets in the under-19 World Cup. India by the way lost Bangladesh in the final of the competition.

Akash had been in a financial crisis in his early days and he used to live in a residential academy to continue with his game. He gives Rahul Dravid a lot of attributes for having mentored him and shaped him properly before the under-19 World Cup.
Akash Singh was bought by RR - Rajasthan ahead of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) at a base price of Rs 20 lakhs but he was not played in a single match. He also has been retained by RR - Rajasthan for the 2021 IPL.
