Early signs

Aniruddha Joshi ha started playing cricket at the age of 14. His first coach was his father. But he did not have a least percentage of infrastructural support at his village Gadag. So Joshi had moved to Hubli and admitted to a proper cricket coaching centre there. Then his career saw some ray of hope as Joshi had represented under-17 Karnataka and then under-19 state team. But during that phase Joshi had to do tremendous hard work, travelling from Gadag to KSCA academy everyday early in the morning and after a rigorous three-hour training there Joshi used to each school. Aniruddha made his debut in List ‘A’ cricket against Railways in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match in 2015. In his maiden List ‘A’ match Joshi scalped 2 wickets at the cost of31 runs in 8.2 overs and with the bat he got out at zero. However, Joshi has participated in 17 List ‘A’ matches so far and picked up 6 wickets at the cost of 134 runs while he has scored 211 runs including his highest score of 68.
