Cameron Donald Green is an Australian cricketer, born on 3rd June 1999, who plays for Western Australia and Perth Scorchers as an all-rounder. Green made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistan during their tour of Australia on 10 January 2017. He made his first-class debut for Western Australia in the 2016–17 Sheffield Shield season on 10 February 2017.He made his Twenty20 debut for the Perth Scorchers in the 2018–19 Big Bash League season on 13 January 2019.
In October 2020, Green was picked in the Australian squad for the ODIs against India. He was also named in Australia's Test squad for the matches against India in November 2020.

Early signs
Cameron Green is a young prodigy who has gone up the ranks through grade cricket and burst onto the domestic scene with a 5-wicket haul on debut at the age of 17. His role as a finisher got noticed when he scored a quick-fire 45, after coming way down the order in his second first-class game, hitting three massive sixes off James Pattison. In his second match with the ball, he finished with figures of 3/20.

He has earned his maiden call-up in the national side, to play in the series against India in November 2020. It will be interesting to see how this young prodigy performs in the big league.
