Cameron Green is a young prodigy who has gone up the ranks through grade cricket and burst onto the domestic scene with a 5-wicket haul on debut at the age of 17. His role as a finisher got noticed when he scored a quick-fire 45, after coming way down the order in his second first-class game, hitting three massive sixes off James Pattison. In his second match with the ball, he finished with figures of 3/20.
He has earned his maiden call-up in the national side, to play in the series against India in November 2020. It will be interesting to see how this young prodigy performs in the big league. He is just 21, has a long way to go from here. If he clicks, it will be hard for the opposition to contain him.
