Hayden is the son of Albert Costayne Walsh who also played in first-class cricket for the Leeward Islands. Hayden Walsh Jr is a leg spinner and left-hand batsman. He was born on 23rd April 1992 in Saint Croix US Virgin Islands.
Born in US Hayden Walsh Jr. is an American citizen. He had gone through trauma in his early following his father's early death in a swimming pool accident before coming out of the predicament and steered him to the domestic season in 2011-12. Hayden is the 14th cricketer in the world who has represented both countries, the USA and then West Indies.

Early signs
Hayden Walsh Jr. had his debut for the Leeward Islands in first-class cricket in the Regional Four-Day competition in 2011-2012. He drew the attention of the selectors in his 3rd match of the competition against Trinidad and Tobago scalping 4 for 47 runs including the wickets of two West Indies internationals Jason Mohammed and Rayad Emrit. He showed his potential as a batsman in the same competition next year against Jamaica with a steady knock of 86. He has participated in 26 first-class matches so far and scored 519 runs with an average of 12.97 while he has been able to bag 60 wickets in as many matches including his best figure of 6 for 47.
ODI Career
Hayden Walsh Jr. started his career in the One Day International (ODI) in April 2019, representing the United States against Papua New Guinea in the ICC second division World Cricket League. But Hayden was not impressive in his debut as he scored only 27 runs off 37 balls and got the opportunity to bowl for one over only which he finished wicket-less giving 9 runs. In October of the same year, Hayden was named on the West Indies side for the ODI series against Afghanistan in India. But he was able to manage only 4 wickets from his 3 matches against Afghanistan. Hayden also failed to hog the limelight against India in the ODI, being wicket-less at the cost of 31 expensive runs. Hayden has participated in 10 ODIs so far and scored 99 runs including his best score of unbeaten 46 while with the ball he has captured 12 wickets in as many matches.
