Early signs
Kyle Jamieson, being born and brought up in Auckland, represents the city in domestic cricket, even nowadays. But he was able to bring his name to the notice of experts when he was representing Canterbury. Even he failed to impress in his maiden first-class match for Canterbury against Wellington in 2014, being wicket-less in his 22 overs at the cost of 70 expensive runs. In his opening match of the ‘List A’ cricket against Wellington in the Ford Trophy Jamieson also had the same predicament as he had to become wicket-less from his 4 overs at the cost of 23 runs.
