Beuran Hendricks is a cricketer from South Africa. He is a left-arm fast bowler. He was born on 8th June 1990 at Bellville in Cape Town. He has learnt the basics of fast bowling at Bellville Cricket Club.

He has ability to deliver at more than 140 km per hour consistently and he is also popular for being able to swing the ball with accuracy.

Hendricks made his debut in First-class cricket in 2010 for Western Province. He was only 21 years old that time. In his maiden appearance in the Three-Day Provincial Challenge competition Hendricks had caught eyes of the observers by acquiring an impressive bowling figure of 3 wickets in his 12 overs at the cost of 47 runs in the first innings and 1 wicket at the cost of 30 runs from 9 overs. In the very next season in 2012-13, the 30-year old fast bowler had developed his bowling a lot, scalping 35 wickets in only 7 matches and the notable performance steered him to earn a place in the South Africa ‘A’ squad against India ‘A’. Hendricks excelled with 11-wicket haul against India ‘A’ in Pretoria. Hendricks having played in 91 First-class matches so far has claimed 319 wickets with is best figure of 11 wickets for only 63 runs in a match with an economy rate of 3.34. In the List ‘A’ cricket Hendricks has bagged 104 wickets from 79 matches with the economy rate of 5.78. His best bowling has been in the List ‘A’ game is 5 wickets for 31 runs in a match.

Beuran Hendricks had begun his journey in the One-Day International in the 3rd match of the series at Centurion against Pakistan. Hendricks was able to bag only one wicket, giving away 50 runs from his 9 overs. His economy rate was also high in the match, 5.56.

Beuran Hendricks has played only one Test so far against England at Johannesburg in January this year. However Hendricks failed to impress, being highly expensive with 111 runs from his 23 overs and earned only one wicket.

Beuran has played only few matches in the IPL tournament, he made his IPL debut for KXIP - Punjab against DC - Delhi on Jan 24, 2020. He has played 7 IPL matches in which he has scalped 9 wickets.

Beuran Hendricks made his debut in Twenty20 International in 2014, playing against Australia at Durban. Hendricks was wicket-less after having bowled only two overs and giving away 31 runs at an economy rate of 15.50. Despite a poor beginning in the shortest format of the game Hendricks developed himself later after a couple of years. He became the leading wicket-taker in the CSA 4-Day Franchise Series with 32 wickets from eight matches. Hendricks also represented Kings XI Punjab and later Mumbai Indians in 2015. However he failed to draw attention with Mumbai Indians, earning only 5 wickets from his 4 matches. Beuran Hendricks has participated in 14 T20Is so far and claimed 20 wickets at an economy rate of 9.36. Otherwise, he has played 72 matches in the T20 format and claimed 97 wickets.
