Kyle Verreynne overview

Kyle Verreynne is a cricketer from South Africa. He was born on 12th May 1997. He is a wicket-keeper and right-hand batsman.

But the 23-year old wicket-keeper batsman did not know whether he would be able to hold on to a bat ever in the future as he had broken his hand when he was only 16 years old. The fracture was worst as the wrist had been broken and the bones were fractured in snaps. Kyle had to undergo surgery and four metal plates were installed in his hand. As its reflection, Kyle had missed the selection for the school cricket team which he was highly keen to get in.

Still, Kyle Verreynne returned to the cricket for less than two years. Even though the national selectors doubted whether Kyle would be able to stand behind the stumps the wicket-keeper did not face any discomfort while keeping behind the stumps. His role model was Quinton de Kock.
