Vishnu Vinod is an Indian cricketer from Kerala. The 27-year old cricketer is a wicket-keeper and aggressive right-hand batsman. He made his first-class debut for Kerala in 2016-17 in Ranji Trophy.

Having played 20 first-class matches so far Vinod has scored impressive 717 runs at an average of 22.40. His highest score in first-class cricket is so far unbeaten 193.

He made his debut in the List 'A' game against Hyderabad in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2014-15. He has so far played in 32 matches and scored 1295 runs at an average of 41.77 including 4 centuries and 4 fifties. His best score in the List ‘A’ game is 139 so far. He was the top scorer in Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2019-20 with 508 runs in 8 matches. Vinod made his debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Twenty20 competition against Karnataka in 2014. He has participated in 35 T20 matches and scored 906 at an average of 30.20 including his best score of unbeaten 71.

Vinod was roped in by RCB for the 2017 IPL as a replacement of injured wicket-keeper K.L Rahul. But Vinod was able to score only 19 runs in the three matches he played that year. As its reflection, he was not retained by the franchise in the next season. After being unsold in the IPL for another couple of seasons Vinod has finally been purchased by Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2021.
