Andrew Balbirinie is also an Irish cricketer who is primarily a right-hand batsman and occasionally plays the role of right-arm off-spinner as well as does wicket-keeping.

Balbirinie was one of Ireland's significant 11 cricketers who had taken part in the first-ever Test match his country had played against Pakistan in 2018.

Balbirinie, having made his first century in first-class cricket in 2017 against the Netherlands in the ICC Intercontinental Cup, drew attention in the next year being the highest run-scorer with 262 runs in only six matches. The batsman has got the scope of playing in three Test matches so far and scored 146 runs.
