Early signs

Grandhomme had played for Zimbabwe in the Under-19 World Cup in 2004 in Bangladesh.

ODI Career

Grandhomme made his debut in the One-Day International in 2012 against South Africa and in his debut, he scored 36 off 36 deliveries before being run-out by Albie Morkel. Grandhomme has amassed 722 runs from his 42 matches and claimed 27 wickets so far. He played an important role in the 2019 World Cup, unleashing a superb 47-ball 60 in a thrilling winning against South Africa and then another solid 64 against Pakistan.

Test career

Grandhomme made his debut in Test against Pakistan in 2016 and he has so far gathered 1185 runs from his 24 Tests at an average of 37.03 including the best figure of 105.

T20 Career

Grandhomme’s debut in the Twenty20 International was first before he had started his journey in Test and the One-Day International. He made his debut in T20I in 2012 against Zimbabwe. He was not able to impress in his debut but was consistent in the shortest format in the domestic circuit. However, he has played in 36 T20Is and scored 487 runs at a strike rate of 143.23 including his best score of 59. He also has managed to get 11 wickets in as many matches so far.
