He was always keen to learn something new hence, he after climbing a lot of mountains and passing by the heap of tough storms, he made his first class debut for Tamil Nadu in the year 2016-2017, playing in the Ranji Trophy on 6 December, 2016. On the other side, he was a well build batsman in the beginning of his career but since his bowing took a leap onto the making, he became a well known off spinner in the Indian Cricket Team. He dint even know that it was suppose to be like this. His other domestic cricket entries as a full-fledged bowler are his October 2017 match where he scored his first maiden century batting for Tamil Nadu and against Tripura. ICC Trophies
Washington Sunder started playing at an incredibly young age of 11 in the second division league in Chennai. He started his channel of work as a wicket keeping batsman, while he was in the U 13 level. His bowling has also got him into the RPS rank as he bowled at the skipper Smith. On the other side of the page, he is a brilliant batsman as well, who can sweep into the boundaries to hit huge panel of scores even in the death overs. At the very young age of 13 Sunder got his training from a very prestigious and acclaimed institute. This also made him provide with handful of quality bowling at such a tender age, which made M Senthil Nathan go radical about how such tough bowling strategy is just a cinch of effort by his side. He was a great name in the squad that won Vijay Hazare and Deodhar Trophy for best play in the cricket era of Tamil Nadu. We are astounded as he got to replace the proficient RR Ashwin in a cricket series. He played around 1 ODI, 21 T20 international and 12FC series till now that has made him enough strong in his play.
