Overview
The IPL has just concluded and its time to move on to bigger and brighter prospects for all the national teams. The West Indies team has had a busy year even at the late stages of the lockdown. They played a very demanding Caribbean Premier league and as soon as it ended, they moved on to the much-awaited IPL which lasted for another one and a half months. Now, as soon as the IPL ended, they booked their flights for New Zealand for some cracking contest in the COVID-free country.
Yes, as we all are aware, New Zealand is one of those rare countries that have overcome the pandemic and have controlled the spread of this virus and is ready to host full-fledged matches under controlled surroundings. The West Indies is scheduled to play 3 T20s and 2 Test Matches in New Zealand and yes, this is going to be a run-scoring festival in the home of the black caps! We are as excited as you are! It will be interesting to see how both these teams go against each other, given the fact they some of them met in the recently concluded IPL.
