2023 Schedule of IPL
Today on 17th February the BCCI announced the schedule of the Indian Premier League. The opening and first match will be played between two dynamic teams named Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. This first Indian premier league will take place in Ahmedabad, which is officially announced by the BCCI on Friday.
This is the sixteenth edition of the tournament which will be starting from 31st of March 2023. The BCCI also announced the last day on which the match will be played is on 21st of May. BCCI also said that all the total number of franchises that is ten in number will be participating in the league and will be playing seven home matches and seven away matches in this league.
BCCI has also officially announced that there will be a total seventy matches in this Indian Premier League of 2023. They also said that the league will be including eighteen double headers. The matches of the league will be played in around fifty two days. The total numbers of venues decided are basically twelve where the matches are going to be held.
On 28th of May 2023, the summit clash will be taking place between the teams in the decided venue. The final will be announced later on after the match. The double matches which are to be played in afternoon will be starting from 3.30 PM onwards and the evening match will be started from 7.30 PM onwards in the venue already decided by the officials.
The first double header match will be on 1st of April which will take place in between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings which is to be played in afternoon at Mohali. Then in the evening from 7.30 PM onwards the next match will take place which is between Lucknow SuperGiants and Delhi Capitals.
Then on the next day that is 2nd of April 2023, one of the most difficult teams to beat up had his match that is Royal Challengers Bangalore and another dynamic team who is five time champion team of Indian Premier League that is Mumbai Indians. We all know this match is going to be very interesting and many people are waiting for this desperately.
The final match of the league will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans which is on 21st of May in 2023. This match is going to be held at a very famous stadium whose name is M. Chinnaswamy Stadium which is situated in Bangalore.
IPL means Indian Premier League is basically a men’s franchise of cricket. This is a twenty over format game in which many teams from different states. The IPL format was founded in the year 2007 by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).
This usually takes place in the summer season and the total numbers of teams are ten. The headquarters of the IPL is in Maharashtra, Mumbai. The first edition of IPL was played in 2008 and the latest edition is to be played in the coming days soon.
