Southee feels cover on the pitch may offer more swing
New Zealand's experienced and senior fast bowler Tim Southee has commented ahead of the second Test against India in Mumbai that the cover on the track as well as drop-in temperature will help the swing bowlers. Southee is one of the Kiwi bowlers that had troubled Indian batters at the Green Park pitch in the first Test. Asked how much of help it will be for the pacers with pitch undercover due to heavy rain, Southee said, "That is something we do not know much about. We will have to wait for the final moment." Still, the pacer hopes the rain and wet conditions are likely to help the swing bowlers.
