Sprinters are athletes who run for short distances on the track. A sprinter needs a very good amount of strength to run. A proper diet is a very important part of a sprinter’s life. This is a sport of strength, skills, and a lot of power.

1. Dutee Chand
The first athlete on the list is Dutee Chand, a professional sprinter from India. She was born on the 3rd of February 1996 in Odisha. She was earlier a student of Law but then she proved that her decision to become a sprinter was a great decision.
She won a gold medal in 2019 at the Summer Universiade in 100 meters which she completed in just 11.32 seconds and this event took place in Naples. In 2021, she recorded a 100-meter race in just 11.17 seconds which is a very great achievement.
2. Rachita Panda
The second player on the list is Rachita Panda, again a female professional sprinter from India. She was born on the 4th of March 1974 in Odisha.
She has a record to complete a 100-meter track in just 11.38 seconds but then on the 5th of July in 2001 she broke PT Usha’s record that is 100 m in 11.39 seconds by completing a 100-meter track in just 11.26 seconds. She retired from the sport some years back.
3. Gurindervir Singh
The third athlete on the list is Gurindervir Singh, an incredible male sprinter from India. He was born on the 24th of December 2000. He basically comes from a Punjabi background.
On the 26th of June in 2021 he completed his 100-meter track in just 10.27 seconds at the National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships tournament held in Patiala. His second-highest record was when he did 100 meters in just 10.30 seconds at the Federation Cup of Patiala on the 15th of March 2021.
4. Amiya Kumar Mallick
The fourth athlete on the list, Amiya Kumar Mallick, is a professional male sprinter. He was born on the 14th of November 1992.
He is the record holder for completing the 100-meter track within just 10.26 seconds. At the Commonwealth Youth games in 2008, he won a bronze medal in 200 meters track which he completed in just 21.33 seconds.
5. Amlan Borgohain
The last athlete on the list is Amlan Borgohain, a male professional sprinter. He was born on the 25th of April 1998 in Assam. He is a very good athlete and has developed great skills within himself. He had created many unbreakable records in the 100 and 200 meters of track.
At a very young age, he had been known by most people due to his incredible performances on the track. His best record is of completing the 100-meter track in just 10.25 seconds last year 2022 in the month of August and became the fastest male sprinter from India.
