Sehwag praises Warner high
Former Indian batter Virender Sehwag had a high appreciation for Australian opening batter David Warner who had a tremendous outing in the just-concluded Twenty20 World Cup with 289 runs in seven innings including three half-centuries. Commenting on Warner's prospect in next year's IPL Sehwag said, "The two new franchises that are entering the League next season will have the option of recruiting three fresh players, and in that David Warner can their obvious choice." Sehwag added, "Warner started as a T20 batter and after that, he played ODIs and Tests. I think before representing Australia Warner had participated in IPL. The journey he has embarked upon from there has been phenomenal. He is mentally very strong and he has the hunger to score runs."
