Dream11 IPL 2020: Captain, Vice-captain, Fantasy gaming Tips, Probable Playing XIs for SRH - Hyderabad  vs CSK - Chennai  T20 Match at the Dubai International Stadium 7:30 PM IST Tuesday October 13

Head to Head

What a first half we have had! We are in the middle of the tournament and it feels as if we started off just yesterday. They say the universe is round and we say, so is the IPL! So, its time for round 2 between the CSK - Chennai and the SRH - Hyderabad at the Dubai International stadium. Yes, these two teams come back to play against each other for the second time in the tournament. Looking at both the sides, it would be wrong to say that SRH - Hyderabad is looking stronger between the two, having won 3 matches out of 7 so far, While the CSK team has managed to win just two matches in the tournament till now, and it is becoming extremely difficult for them to come up with a solution. Leaving that behind, we know that CSK is a much better team than it is looking right now, and they have the ability to bounce back and won’t give up without a fight. They are aware of the fact that they lost the previous match against the Sunrisers and they will have to keep a strong foot forward if they have to win this one.

On the other hand, Hyderabad will be hoping they win this one and move up in the points table. They have a formidable side, their bowlers are doing a decent job, their batsmen have started to click, and they have already defeated the Chennai team once in this tournament. They will be coming into this match with some sort of confidence and it might help them win!

History

Both the teams have faced each other on 13 occasions in the IPL so far, and CSK holds a 9-4 head-to-head win record over SRH. In 2018, CSK had defeated SRH on four occasions, including Qualifier 1 and the final. Overall, Chennai has three IPL titles, while SRH has won the trophy once. Both the teams hold a particularly good win percentage, and it will be amusing to see how they fare against each other in this edition. However, in this edition SRH has already defeated CSK once and will be looking repeat their performance.

Some interesting facts to look at:

Pitch Conditions

The match will be played at the Dubai International Cricket stadium, Dubai. Here, Teams batting first have an upper hand generally. The pitch will be slow, but the ground is smaller, so both teams will look to earn some extra runs at the beginning.

Moreover, dew will also play an important factor so whoever wins the toss will look to bat first. The ball will spin which is good news for both the teams, given the fact that both teams have some really good spinners in their line-up.

Batting

CSK:

CSK will cross their fingers hoping that their star batsmen start a winning campaign. If all of them click in tonight’s match nothing like it! They have very options of explosive batsmen in Faf Du Plessis, Shane Watson and Dwayne Bravo. Kedar Jadhav provides some really good stability to the middle-order and of course there is Dhoni who can tackle the tail-end with Mitchell Santner and Ravindra Jadeja. The tail is deep, and CSK knows and will look to capitalize on it. Young Ruturaj Gaikwad has not got a chance yet,

SRH:

SRH has both stability and attack in their batting line-up with Johnny Bairstow and David Warner at the top and Williamson coming in at number 3. The good thing about this team is that they are full of all-rounders with Mohammed Nabi, Jason holder, Vijay Shankar, and Rashid Khan. However, a team can pick only 4 foreign players, so it’ll be interesting to see who they pick for this contest. There is  Fabian Allen whom we haven’t seen yet. There is Manish Pandey who provides additional stability to the middle-order and there are some interesting young guns Abdul Samad and Abhishek Sharma and of course under-19 prodigy Priyam Garg.

Bowling

CSK :

Lungi Ngidi is leading the table in the league with highest number wickets under his belt and is in contention to win the purple cap at the end of the tournament. Piyush Chawla is looking good with newfound confidence in the CSK camp and will get a bit of help from fellow spinner Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore. Deepak Chahar has shown a lot of promise since the first match of the league and he will be matching steps with Sam Curran who is looking in a decent touch this season. Imran Tahir has not found a spot in the team yet, people really want to know when he will come out in the yellow jersey, fans are missing his famous celebration.

SRH :

SRH has always been touted as one of the best bowling units the league. They always maintained the discipline in their bowling attack in the past. This year, they are backed by bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Billy Stanlake, Mohammed Nabi, and Vijay Shankar. Also, both Khaleel Ahmed and Thangarasu Natarajan are looking in good touch. They also hold some interesting talent on the bench with the likes of Siddharth Kaul, Shahbaz Nadeem and Sandeep sharma. They just have to find the perfect mix!

Probable Playing XI :

Match Prediction :

Looking at both the line-ups on paper will tell you that CSK is looking much stronger than the latter but let’s not forget that they have lost their last five matches with the same outfit excluding Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu. Dwayne hasn’t played well, and Rayudu is trying to make a comeback from an injury. The bowling line-up has much to work on if we exclude Lungi Ngidi and Sam Curran

On the Other hand, SRH will be high on confidence with a convincing victory on their back. All the players are looking in good shape. Especially Bairstow and Williamson who will look to build on a strong partnership. Manish Pandey is also in good form so he will play a vital role for his team. The bowling department is also looking stronger than the former which is a good sign.
