Top Football Scorers in 2022

Guess what is another name for football? The answer is soccer.

Football is an athletic sport in which two opponent teams or players try to, carry, throw, or else propel a ball in the direction of the opposite team’s net.

Here are a few of the highest football match scores from the 2022 world cup.

●       Kylian Mbappe| 8 goals

Mbappe is France's standout player at the current World Cup. Prior to scoring the game achieving support against Denmark, he opened the game by tallying four goals in a four-one victory over Australia. The topmost 2 group games featured the focus of his shenanigans for Les Bleus.

The round was 16, in which France defeated Poland by 3/1, thanks in part to a pair of goals from the PSG forward. France lowered Poland.

Mbappe scored a hat trick in the World Cup final, making him only the second player in history to accomplish this feat and saving France from going down 2/0.

●      Lionel Messi | 7 goals

Argentina took the lead thanks to a penalty kick by Messi against Saudi Arabia, but the Asian squad fought back to surprisingly defeat Argentina by 2/1.

With a beautiful long-range driven shot, he would once more rescue Argentina, helping them to a 2-0 victory over Mexico.

With one of his trademark shots into the bottom corner, Messi would celebrate playing in his 1000th game by handing Argentina an important lead over Australia.

●      Olivier Giroud | 4 goals

Giroud scored twice against Australia to help France win their opening game. The AC Milan forward, who now holds the record for most goals scored by France, scored the game's first goal in their Round of 16 victory over Poland.

The 36-year-old then delivered Les Bleus a 2-1 quarterfinal triumph against England by giving them the lead again in the 78th minute after Antoine Griezmann's beautiful left-wing cross. He then powerfully headed the ball past Jordan Pickford to give Les Bleus the lead once more.

●      Julián Álvarez | 4 goals

This young player from Manchester City forward scored his first World Cup goal in a crucial match playing against Poland. Alvarez's breathtaking finish into the top corner gave Argentina the victory and advancement to the next level or round.

Alvarez cemented his legacy in Argentine football history by scoring twice in a 3/0 semi final triumph over Croatia. The first of these goals came from a scruffy single effort by a Manchester City forward who boldly broke through the Croatian defence and nodded the ball past Dominik Livakovi.

●      Goncalo Ramos | 3 goals

The first ever hat-trick of the competition was recorded by Benfica's rising star who is no other than Goncalo Ramos, who will take over for Cristiano Ronaldo.

He started by striking the target's upper left corner with a venomous blow. He also received a pass from Joao Felix and spun slightly before leaping into the air. Then, he finished off his hat trick with a deft stab over the goalie after scoring a goal at the near post like a traditional centre-forward.
