Top Spinners In The World Of Cricket

It's not simple to be a spinner in cricket. If you want to be an amazing and a great player and a good spinner, you need to always practise a lot. One would still keep improving their spin bowling technique and incorporating newer kinds after doing this, though.

The ball has frequently been spun both ways according to these legends, and one of them even has a peculiar faster spin to add to the mystery.

The full ranking of the world's top spinners is as follows:

Greatest ever spinner: Muttiah Muralitharan

The top spin bowler in the world is where the ranking begins! Muttiah Muralitharan has led Sri Lanka through every challenge and triumph. He began his career in 1992 and played for Sri Lanka in the nation's World Cup victory in 1996.

In terms of individual wickets in ODIs were 800 and in Test Cricket were 534 wickets, Muttiah Muralitharan leads the way. He is one of the finest bowlers of the world.

Shane Warne: Leg Spinner

Another bowler whose spin-bowling spell-bound the batsman was the late Shane Warne. The Australian bowler has improved tremendously since making his debut in 1992, becoming one of the best spinners ever!

Shane Warne played for Australian sides that won the Ashes and the 1999 World Cup, among other achievements. Warne retired from Test cricket having taken the most wickets with 708 total. Finally, Muttiah Muralitharan was able to defeat this.

In 2022, the sudden death of Shane Warne shook the world of cricket. Of course, his presence on the cricket field will be greatly missed.

     3.  Anil Kumble, bestest of the best     spinners of India

He is also referred to as 'Jumbo'. He ranks third among the world's topmost and finest spin bowlers. He has been an amazing wicket taker in both test matches and ODIs.

His grit and willpower were seen in Anil Kumble's fantasy in which he faced the West Indies in 2022 despite having a broken jaw.

Best Spinner from Pakistan: Saqlain Mushtaq

Possibly the best spin bowler from his nation was this Pakistani spinner. This spinner from Pakistan made his name on the international platform, where in ODIs he took 288 wickets and in test matches he took 208 wickets.

His career went down in the year 2004, due to his major injuries. One can only think what more this spinner can do if he had been allowed to continue for another 5–6 years.

Jim Laker, the best spinner in England

Jim Laker, one of cricket's greatest spinners, started playing for England in 1947. In just forty six test matches, he took around 193 wickets, with a high of 10/53.

The test match which was held in Old Trafford Stadium picked his career, as in that match he took in total 19 wickets against Australian team.
