TOP WOMEN CRICKETERS OF ALL TIME

Cricket is a game liked by everyone around the globe. We all have definitely heard about men players, batsmen, and bowlers, but never read about women players or appreciated them. All cricketers, whether men or women are equally important.

So today let’s just see some of the dynamic women players of all time.

1.    Rachael Heyhoe Flint

Flint was the captain of England between 1966 and 1978. We have seen her skills in every format of cricket but her best performance was shown in Test matches. She was the first ever woman to hit a 6 in the test series.

She led them to victory in the World Cup in 1973. Her average in Test matches was 45.54 and one-day international cricket was 58.45. She was the very first woman who joined MCC.

2.    Belinda Clark

Another player is from Australia and has a career span from 1991 to 2005. She made 214 runs against Denmark in the World cup of 1997, which was a huge score at that time.

She captained the Australian team from 1994 to 2005; she led her team to 2 wins in World cups and one reached to finals. She served as Women's Cricket Australia's top executive as well. She scored seven centuries in ODIs and also became the leading ODI scorer of Australia.

3.    Charlotte Edwards

Another player is from England; she started her career in 1996 and retired in 2016. She began playing at a very young age, when she was only 15. She scored more runs in international matches than any other English player has scored as of now.

She became the captain of the England team between 2005 and 2016 when the team won the World Cup and ICC World T20 success in the year 2009.  She became the woman to pass 2,500 runs in the T20 series. She is still playing domestic cricket.

4.    Sarah Taylor

Again an English player, named Sarah has a career span from 2006 to 2019. In Australia, she made history in 2015 when she was the first female who got a chance to play grade cricket. She is a great batsman as well as she also served her team as a very well wicket keeper.

Taylor has done very well for her country, making it happen to win the World Cup and World T20 in 2009. She also achieved 1,000 ODI runs at a young age, making her a pioneer in the field.

5.    Stafanie Taylor

She is the most powerful all-rounder in this game. She is from the West Indies and started playing in 2008. She has played almost more than 200 international matches but never played in any of the test matches which shows what women can do in this field too.

She is a very powerful ball striker and has taken almost 200 wickets. She also made history by becoming the first and only female player to score 100 runs and take four wickets in a 50 over format. The 2016 ICC Women's World T20 champions were led by her as their captain.
