Amir’s battle with PCB continues

Mohammad Amir's battle with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) doesn't seem to end yet. The former Pakistan bowler announced his untimely retirement at the age of only 29. However, in the subsequent months, he revealed on social media that he can return to the team if the current team management is changed. Everything had begun with Mohammad Amir taking a decision of hanging up his boots from Test cricket. The left-arm pacer revealed at the time that he wanted to focus more on white-ball cricket, which is why he decided to call it quits from the longest format. However, since then, the pacer started getting heavily blamed for retiring from one format of the game. The reflection of the criticism was that the cricket fans, as well as the cricket fraternity in Pakistan, believed in a way that Amir has disowned his country. He was dropped from the T20I and ODI squads. Then Amir announced his retirement from all formats, citing that the current management was critical of his Test retirement, and decided to drop him. While talking to Wisden recently, the Pakistan fast bowler has revealed that he only could be seen in action donning Pakistan shirts in the future if things get better.
