Australia takes 1-0 lead in the ODI series, Billings’ton goes in vain
Sam Billings' maiden ODI ton went in vain as Australia's formidable attack with the ball helped them secure a 19-run win over England and take a 1-0 lead in the ODI series.
A 126-run stand between Glenn Maxwell (77) and Mitchell Marsh (73) helped Australia recover from 123 for 5 and they went on to post a competitive total of 294 for 9 wickets which won them the match.
