Australia to implement stricter laws around use of sweat for tour of England

Team Australia is set to apply stricter protocols around the usage of sweat to shine the cricket ball during their tour of England. Earlier, due to the ongoing global pandemic ICC ruled that no saliva would be used to shine the ball but sweat is okay because of a lower amount of risk involved. There's slightly altered guidelines from what people may have seen from the previous England series here," fast bowler Mitchell Starc said after Australia had arrived at the Ageas Bowl. "You can't use sweat from around the face, neck or head and you obviously can't use saliva." Mitchell starc said that he did not feel that using sweat will be as big a factor in case of the white ball compared to the red ball.
