Bumrah becomes nostalgic in MI post
Jasprit Bumrah has expressed happiness after he was retained by Mumbai Indians ahead of the mega auction for the 2022 edition of IPL. Bumrah has shared two pictures with Mumbai Indians in his Twitter account, one of his debut seasons in Mumbai and the other one from a photoshoot session ahead of IPL 2021. The bowler has captioned, 'The story continues.' However, the director of Cricket Operations, Zaheer Khan in a conversation with Star Sports has explained leadership qualities played an important role in retaining four players. Zaheer has given an example of Kieron Pollard stating, "Pollard's journey with MI started in 2010 and now he is considered a strong finisher in this format. So, from that view, it was not a difficult decision either."
