Captain Rohit defends his decision to not send Ishan Kishan in the super despite his great stint

The clash between RCB - Bangalore and MI - Mumbai went into the Super Over after both teams ended up scoring 201 runs in their allotted 20 overs. RCB went on to win the Super Over after chasing a target of eight runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday. Despite scoring a brilliant 99 off just 58 balls, Ishan Kishan, who got out in the last over, did not walk out to bat in the Super Over.

“With Polly being there, anything can happen, and Ishan can hit it. We had the belief that we could do it. They held their nerves although we put pressure. (Kishan) was drained out and he was not comfortable for the Super Over. He was not feeling fresh and Hardik is someone we trust hitting the long balls," Rohit said defending his decision.
