David Warner opens up on controversy with Sunrisers Hyderabad
Two months after the end of IPL 2021, devastating Australian batter David Warner has broken silence, opening up on the controversy with his franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad where he was dropped from the team and removed from captaincy. He had featured in only two games for SRH in the Dubai leg of IPL 2021. He said, "When you are dropped without any proper reason and when you are removed from captaincy also without any logic then it surely hurts. But I did not lose time. I used to train hard every day at the nets and it started working out. During IPL I could realize while batting at the nets that my form was coming back. I was waiting for the opportunity to play a competitive match."
