Gambhir says Dravid will be successful as a coach also
After newly appointed coach and captain-led Team India defeated New Zealand by five wickets in the first T20I former Indian opening batter Gautam Gambhir mentioned the new pair of Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid would bring glory for Team India. Especially commenting on Rahul Dravid, Gambhir stated, "He was a very successful player. Then he became a successful captain. I believe Dravid will also be a successful coach." Gambhir added, "Dravid has played more than 100 Tests. He has captained the team. His work ethics were unbelievable, hard-working. His guidance must bring a lot of assurance in the dressing room". Dravid, before taking over the charge of the senior team from Ravi Shastri, was the coach of the under-19 and India-A team.
